Cumberland Lodge Stakes
Provo ad andare contro il favorito con la sorpresa Quicktorn (6-1), secondo di Sonnyboyliston (successivo vincitore dell'Irish St Leger Gr 1) nel prestigioso Ebor Heritage Handicap ed a segno all'ultima in condizionata, nonostante avesse perso una decina di lunghezze al via, recuperando sul favorito ed andando a vincere con due lunghezze di margine. Vittorioso anche al Royal Ascot nelle Duke of Edinburgh Stakes, riprova la pattern company con qualche chance. Solitamente corre tra i primi.

Bengough Stakes
Il regolare Diligent Harry (9-1) ha ottenuto tre vittorie, due secondi ed un terzo posto in sei corse, fino a livello di gruppo 3. Poche miglia nelle gambe sono un dettaglio a suo favore, e se come capita spesso riuscirà a partire bene sistemandosi in prima linea, potrebbe anche tenere fin sul palo.

Non riesco a trovare alternative interessanti a Noble Truth (11-10), vincitore in listed e secondo all'ultima nel Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère (Gr 1) su terreno allentato, dopo corsa al comando. Ha provato anche a correre in gruppo e nelle retrovie, sembra un soggetto versatile, e mi pare abbia una buona occasione per vincere la sua prima pattern della carriera. Ha corso sempre a 7f.

St Simon Stakes
Difficile andare contro Siskany (1-1), ottimo handicapper che prova per la prima volta la pattern company, dopo due vittorie, un secondo ed un quarto posto nelle ultime quattro. Apprezza terreno e distanza, e trova un'opposizione piuttosto modesta per essere un gruppo 3. Corre in gruppo.
